Nireus – Negroamaro Passito
The best bunches of negroamaro are left on vines for about a month, despite the fact tha they have already matured. Under the sun the sugars and the polyphenols concentrate. After fermentation, the wine is elegant with strong fruity scents, soft on the palate and with a long persistence.
Colour: intense red.
On the nose: it releases strong fruity hints and vanilla at the same time, while cocoa and spices stand out.
On the palate: it is an elegant wine, smooth and with a long persistence.
Food pairings: it pleasantly accompanies first courses, roasts, red meats, game, cured meats and aged cheeses.
Serving temperature: 18 – 20° C
